STARGATE SG-1
Teryl Rothery has portrayed Dr Janet Fraiser, the Chief Medical Office at Stargate Command on the long-running hit television series, Stargate SG-1 from one of the very first episodes. She has guest starred in 75 episodes playing a stong female character who became the role-model for women of all ages around the globe. In addition, Teryl has provided the voice of an little alien creature called Heimdall from the episode "Revelations".
DR JANET FRAISER
Dr.
Frasier was a key player within the SGC. She cured and treated the illnesses
procured by the SGC members on alien worlds. General Hammond enlisted her
as a member of SGC, as he well knew she would be prepared for even major crises.
Without Dr Fraiser's dedication and professionalism, SG-1 could hardly carry out it's missions. In her first year at SGC Janet Fraiser adopted Cassie, a young girl Sam Carter brought back to Earth from a planet destroyed by the Goa'uld.
Janet Fraiser met her untimely demise in the two part season seven episode, "Heroes."
HEIMDALL
Heimdall is a little alien creature who's voice was provided by Teryl Rothery.
We met Heimdall in the season five finale titled Revelations. Heimdall is an
Asgard scientist who works on finding a way to save his race through studying
an ancient Asgard.
The Asgard's voice sounds decidedly female, plus we know Teryl's behind it, but the alien is referred to as a ‘he'. Just so: Heimdall is a scientist, a character much like Fraiser, and his scenes are with Sam just as Janet's.
