[ANNOUNCEMENT]
The webmasters and list owners of The Abydos Gate, JanetFraiser.com, TotallyTeryl.com, Turtle_and_Min and janet_fic together would like to invite you to participate in a contest organized in an effort to express our appreciation for the wonderful and diverse work Teryl Rothery has done (and no doubt will continue to do) in theater, movies on TV, and the fun moments she shares with us at conventions.
People from all around the world are asked to submit artwork, fiction, music videos, poetry and web pages in different languages (no matter how small, short, what technique etc) that relate to any and all of the characters Teryl has played.
The contest will run through May 2003, the winners will be announced by mid-June after two weeks of voting at The Abydos Gate (rothery.stargate-sg1.hu/contest.php). The winners will receive various prizes donated by the list members including original Teryl autographs, convention photos, digital photo collections and magazines.
We'll also try and present Teryl a collection of your work at the Tulsa Trek Expo in June (or a convention in the near future), in the hopes that the contributions of the fans will give her something back for all the happiness, long-lasting friendships, creativity or motivation etc we've found through watching Stargate SG-1.
